Fall Floral Arrangement in a Galvanized Bucket

When I was shopping for supplies to make this wreath, I wasn't sure just how many silk flowers I needed. I ended up having a bunch of "leftovers" and decided to make a flower arrangement for our front patio.

I had this galvanized metal bucket on hand (a Rose Bowl Flea Market purchase) and just dropped a styrofoam disc into the bottom (Michael's has styrofoam in every shape and size imaginable).

Then I just used my leftover flowers and stuck them into the styrofoam. I rearranged the bunches a few times until I got the look I was going for...

Then I used leftover ribbon and raffia to tie a bow around the bucket.
Here is a little peek at our front patio. Our seat cushions got ruined last year when they were left out in the rain and we have yet to replace them... so when Ryan went out to have a cigar the other night he grabbed a spare pillow. I probably should've moved it before this little photoshoot, but I'm keepin' it real. :)
I'm really happy with how it turned out and it really adds a bit of "fall" to the front of the house. Plus it matched the wreath on the door--bonus. :)

Very cute!! I haven't been to the Rose Bowl Swap Meet. It's something I should do one day. I'm in the west end of the SF Valley.
