Fall Decor Paper Mache Pumpkins

As I pack up the sea shells and starfish for the fall and winter, and begin unpacking our fall and winter decor, I decided to revisit an old fall favorite craft... my little family of paper mache pumpkins.

A few years back, us girls got together for some holiday crafting and whipped these up. It's such a fun and easy project and I'm sure would be a perfect activity to do with the kiddos (I can't wait until Liam is old enough to start crafting with me).

All you need for this project is:

plastic or plaster pumpkins
fall and/or Halloween scrapbooking paper
Elmer's glue
water
a little creativity
a willingness to get messy

Mix Elmer's glue with water in a bucket or bowl. Rip pieces of paper, dip into the gluey water, and then plop it right down on your pumpkin. Let air dry. Wa-la. Cute pumpkins.

On another note, I can't believe it's Thursday. This week flew by. I am counting the minutes until the Saints/Vikings game is on. I'm cooking lasagna for dinner (such a great fall food), and we'll be huddled up watching the game. Any football fans out there?

LOVE these pumpkins! They would make cute gifts for teachers too!

PS - I HEART FOOTBALL :)
